How big is "mini"?

"A hidden gem" for families and pig lovers

★★★★★
Kerri walked me through every step on how to care for our sweet girl. The farm is beautiful and extremely clean, and our mini pig was even litter box trained.

★★★★★
We had my son's 5th birthday party there. Fair price, laid-back and fun, and he was asking to go back a few hours after we got home.

Mini pig FAQ

Questions people ask before visiting or adopting

How much does the Mini Pig Experience cost?
$25 per guest. Every child and adult needs a ticket; infants are free. Sessions are private and scheduled, so reserve in advance.
Where is Countryside Farm located?
10550 Moore Rd, Lakeland, FL 33809, in Polk County between Tampa and Orlando. Visits are by appointment only.
How big do Juliana mini pigs get?
Our adult pigs average 35–55 lbs and stand 10–16 inches tall. No breeder can guarantee adult size; diet, exercise and health all play a big part.
How long do mini pigs live?
About 12–15 years when kept healthy.
Do your mini pigs come potty trained?
Yes. Our piglets come litter box trained.
Do you ship mini pigs?
Yes. We offer ground transport to 48 states (all except Alaska and Hawaii) and ship with Delta. Text us for a quote.
Are mini pigs hypoallergenic?
Technically no, and a small number of people react to them. Most people who are allergic to cats and dogs do fine around mini pigs.
Can I keep a mini pig where I live?
Check first. The USDA classifies pigs as livestock and many cities don't allow pet pigs inside city limits. Look up your city's animal ordinances or call your city office.
Will a mini pig walk on a leash?
Yes. With a harness, time and patience, mini pigs can learn to walk on a leash.
Do mini pigs make good indoor pets?
Yes, as long as they also get outdoor time. Pigs love to sun, root in the dirt and explore. A pig kept strictly indoors would be an unhappy pig.
Who can watch my pig when I travel?
Pigs are herd animals and like being with their people, but occasional trips are fine. We suggest finding a local pet sitter through Rover.com.
How long can you hold my piglet after purchase?
Up to 7 days free. After that boarding is $25 per day, and a piglet not picked up or shipped within 14 days is forfeited.
